(Nasdaq: VDSI) ( www.vasco.com), the global number one vendor of strong user authentication products to the financial sector, today announced that the leading Italian bank Banca Nazionale del Lavoro (BNL) (www.bnl.it ) will use VASCO’s Digipass GO3 strong authentication token to secure its customers’ Internet and telephone banking transactions. Digipass GO3 is integrated in TrustAccess, the authentication and security service of VASCO’s solution partner Actalis (www.actalis.it ). Actalis is a major provider of security services to the Italian financial and governmental sectors.

BNL direct channels retail banking application offers BNL customers the possibility to perform remote banking transactions. VASCO’s Digipass will provide strong authentication of BNL’s customers’ Internet and phone banking exercises.
