Scott M. Clements

Scott M. Clements is OneSpan’s Chief Executive Officer and President. Scott has extensive leadership experience in security and technology businesses, developing transformational strategies that leverage technology innovations to build on competitive assets. Before OneSpan, Scott spent 11 years at Tyco International as President of Tyco’s global $1B Retail Solutions business unit, as well as Tyco's Chief Technology Officer working to accelerate innovation, and as Senior Vice President, Corporate Business Development, focused on technology acquisitions. Prior to Tyco, Scott spent a decade at Honeywell International in financial, operational, and investor relations roles in the U.S. and Asia Pacific. Scott received a BS in chemical engineering and advanced process control from The Ohio State University and an MBA in finance and corporate strategy from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He also completed an Executive Leadership Development program through the Duke University Fuqua School of Business, and is a Board Leadership Fellow with the National Association of Corporate Directors.

Mark Hoyt is OneSpan’s Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Executive Vice President. Mark has more than two decades’ experience growing market-leading software and technology businesses in financial, accounting and international business development roles. Prior to joining OneSpan, Mark helped accelerate Groupon’s expansion outside of the U.S. as Chief Financial Officer for the company’s operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Immediately prior, Mark held positions in accounting, finance, R&D transformation, intellectual property innovation and venture capital at Career Builder, Motorola, Inc. and PricewaterhouseCoopers, based in Chicago and London. Mark is on the Board of Future Founders and was honored as a Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow, and as a member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs Emerging Leaders. Mark received a BS in Accountancy from Miami University, an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and is a CPA.

Steven Worth

Steven Worth

Steven Worth is OneSpan’s General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary, and holds executive responsibility for corporate IT Security, Legal, and Regulatory Compliance. Steven brings more than 25 years of experience across software, technology, consulting, and legal. Prior to joining OneSpan, Steven was an Executive Vice President at SilkRoad Technology, a leader in SaaS human resources applications, and helped build the high growth venture-backed company. Before SilkRoad, Steven was Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Diamond Management and Technology Consultants, an international publicly-traded technology services firm. He helped focus and transform Diamond’s business, building strategic revenue and helping secure the company’s sale at a significant premium. Before corporate roles, Steven also practiced law with a large international firm in the areas of technology, finance, M&A, general corporate, and tax. He holds post-graduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he received an MBA, and JD. Steven did his undergraduate work at Cornell University, graduating with a BS.

John Gunn

John Gunn

John Gunn is OneSpan’s Chief Marketing Officer and brings two decades of leadership experience in the IT security and software segments. Before joining OneSpan, John led the Security Solutions Group at Harland Clarke where he launched a popular SaaS consumer identity protection and anti-fraud solution. John was General Manager N.A. and Vice President Global Marketing for Aladdin, a publicly-traded leader in authentication and software security solutions where he doubled revenue. Prior to Aladdin, John was President of VisionTek, a consumer technology products company where he grew revenue from $5M to over $100M, and a founder of Reveal where he grew revenue from zero to $200M+. He is an expert on hacking and IT security issues, and is frequently quoted in the media. John received his BA degree in Economics and Business from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Tracy McCarthy

Tracy McCarthy

Tracy McCarthy is OneSpan's Chief Human Resources Officer. She brings more than 20 years of experience in human resources leadership to the company, with the past 10 years focused primarily in SaaS technology companies. Tracy joined OneSpan from SAVO Group (now Seismic), a private equity-funded SaaS provider that specializes in sales productivity software, where she served as Executive Vice President, Human Resources. Tracy has also served as Chief Human Resource Officer at SilkRoad Technology and Lakeview Technology (now Syncsort). Previously, Tracy held human resources leadership roles at Winston Brands, Corporate Express (now Staples) and Dayton Hudson (now Target). Tracy holds a BS in Psychology and Human Resource Development from the University of Minnesota, and an MS in Management and Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University. She also holds SPHR, GPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications, and serves on the board of directors for Chicago Tech Academy.

Dan Dica

Dan Dica

Dan S. Dica is OneSpan’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Dan has more than 25 years of experience building and leading global sales organizations for internet, mobile security, and SaaS providers as well as technology consulting services. Previously, as OneSpan’s Regional Sales Director, Dan helped establish and grow the company’s operations in Asia Pacific and Japan through his leadership and vision, and by identifying and understanding new market opportunities. Prior to joining OneSpan, Dan served as General Manager Asia Pacific at WhiteStone, a cloud-based software company based in Sydney, Australia, and was also VP of Business Development at Unisoft, a multinational ERP software company based in Greece. Dan earned his BA in Business and Economics from ICI Institute.

Leadership -  Benoit Grange

Benoit Grange

Benoit Grangé is OneSpan’s Chief Technology Officer. His extensive experience in product management, product strategy, and leading engineering teams has helped OneSpan generate significant growth. Benoit manages the research and development organization that engineered the company’s powerful new trust platform that enables businesses to seamlessly implement identity verification, fraud prevention, electronic and transaction signing, mobile application protection, and risk analysis. Benoit is responsible for product development and the long-term technology direction at OneSpan. He holds an MMath from the University of Bordeaux.

Roger Wigenstam

Roger Wigenstam

Roger is OneSpan’s Vice President of Product Management. He has over 20 years of experience bringing unique and innovative solutions to the market and leading product management, user experience, architecture, and engineering teams. Before joining OneSpan, Roger lead Product Management and User Experience at NextLabs, a Silicon Valley based data security startup. Prior to that, Roger led both product management and engineering teams at Oracle for more than a decade. His responsibilities during this time included a variety of offerings in the areas of identity and access management, API gateway, and data security in addition to the security platform and development frameworks used across Oracle's cloud and enterprise solutions. He has been awarded several patents and involved in several industry standards efforts. Roger holds a BSc in System Analysis & Design from the University of Karlstad.

Jeff Cole

Jeff Cole

Jeff Cole is OneSpan’s Chief Information Officer and joined OneSpan in 2017. Jeff has held numerous technology leadership positions throughout his career, helping companies use best-in-class cloud applications and data strategies to automate processes and gain insight. Before joining OneSpan, Jeff spent eight years at CareerBuilder.com as Senior Director of Information Management, and Director of Financial Systems, where he focused on financial applications and data. Prior to that, Jeff was responsible for managing financial systems for Discover Financial Services, Inc. Jeff received a BBA and Computer Information systems from Dominican University and an MBA in Technology Management and Innovation from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Giovanni Verhaeghe, Vice President Corporate Development and Hardware Operations

Giovanni Verhaeghe

Giovanni Verhaeghe is OneSpan’s Vice President of Corporate Development and Hardware Operations. He has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and business transformation through technology innovation and acquisition. Giovanni has also created several hardware and software solutions in support of OneSpan’s platform strategy, working to maintain a balance between in-house and acquired technology in his role leading corporate strategy and technical operations. Giovanni has served as OneSpan’s Director of Corporate Strategy and Intellectual Property Rights. Prior to joining OneSpan, Giovanni was IT-Manager at Vinçotte, a company specialized in safety, security and quality control. Giovanni holds a Bachelor of Applied Informatics from Howest (Bruges/Cardiff UK) and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Vlerick Business School.

Joe Maxa

Joe Maxa

Joe Maxa is OneSpan’s Director of Investor Relations. His role integrates the work of finance, communications, marketing, and compliance to deliver effective communications between OneSpan and the investment community. Prior to joining OneSpan, Joe was Vice President and Senior Research Analyst at Dougherty & Company, a full-service investment bank and brokerage firm. His experience as a sell-side analyst includes nearly two decades covering small to mid-cap technology and industrial technology companies, including OneSpan. Prior to Dougherty & Company, Joe worked in engineering and operations roles and held a Professional Engineering license. Joe earned a BS in Engineering from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
