Russell is a provider of global investment performance measurement products and portfolio analysis tools.


The Russell 2000 and Russell 3000 indexes, along with the Russell midcap and growth style indexes, are part of a family of US market benchmarks that measure the leading 3000 securities listed in the US equity market, and are extensively used by investment managers as key investing benchmarks. Today, more than $177 billion is invested in funds that use Russell’s US stock indexes as their model. New official membership lists for the broad market Russell 3000® index, small cap Russell 2000® Index, and large cap Russell 1000® Index, were recently posted as a result of the annual adjustment of the US stock indexes.
