VASCO has introduced Digipass Soft, its new security software that combines the strong authentication and digital signature capabilities of the company's Digipass product with the flexibility of a software-based security platform.

Designed to enable companies to safeguard access to their networks and e-business and e-commerce applications, the new software eliminates the use of static passwords. Instead it offers time-based response-only and time-based challenge/response dynamic passwords and digital signature capability for ensuring the authenticity of data and online transactions.

Vasco will also integrate Digipass Soft with existing software packages and applications offered by third-party software vendors.
