OAKBROOK TERRACE, Illinois and BRUSSELS, Belgium – October 28, 2004 – VASCO Data Security (Nasdaq: VDSI: www.vasco.com), a global provider of enterprise-wide security products that support e-business and e-commerce, today announced that it has launched the next version of its successful Digipass Plug-In for Novell’s NMAS (Novell Modular Authentication Service) (NasdaqNM: NOVL).
Digipass Plug-In for Novell NMAS Version 3 (http://www.vasco.com/novell) is immediately available and boasts several important new key features. The product is a cost effective and very easy to install and manage strong authentication add-on, specifically suited for companies with 1000 + employees, using Novell NMAS.
As was the case with the previous version, Digipass is natively integrated in Novell NMAS, doing away with the need for a third-party authentication server.
New key features are:
- Bulk Management features: the administrator will be able to assign a high amount of tokens to a large number of end-users with just one click;
- Support of every type of Digipass: All 18 members of the Digipass family can be used in an NMAS environment, including the GO series with software PIN;
- Additional Error Logging Capabilities;
- Novell BorderManager 3.8 support.
