The implementation of Digipass into Redbet’s system will be coordinated by VASCO’s Swedish integrator Verisec (www.verisec.se ).

Sweden has been selected by Redbet as the test market for the use of Digipass in online gambling application because it has the highest Internet penetration in the world. In 2003, 76,9% of Swedish households had an Internet connection. As a result, the fast growing online betting industry was very successful in the Swedish market. Stockholm, the Swedish capital, has become Europe’s online betting hub, with online betting companies, technology vendors and service providers clustered around the city.

Digipass 260 is a very portable, Pin protected device offering One-Time Password and e-signature functionalities.
