OneSpan is currently looking for a Renewals Specialist to join our team in Brussels, Belgium.
This position, reporting to the EMEA/APAC Renewals Manager, focuses on relationship management, effectively communicating the value of Maintenance and Support Programs while driving both retention and growth. Key responsibilities include quoting, positioning upsells, conducting regular follow-ups, and successfully closing renewals. Candidates must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to provide accurate forecasts.
You excel at:
· Delivering exceptional service through consistent phone outreach and building robust customer relationships, while providing a consultative and proactive approach to generating competitive renewal quotes.
· Collaborating with internal sales teams to prepare renewal quotes, addressing objections through negotiation, and adjusting quotes as necessary to ensure the competitiveness of the solutions presented to customers.
· Maintaining and updating reporting systems utilized for research and delivering accurate forecasts within a designated sales support territory.
· Fostering strong business relationships with Account Executives and other key stakeholders.
· Establishing yourself as a trusted advisor for customers regarding their support needs.
· Adhering to departmental standard operating procedures to ensure renewal contracts are completed at full value and within deadlines.
· Taking ownership of the contracts assigned to you, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency to manage your portfolio effectively, resulting in timely and full-value renewals.
· Continuously seeking to enhance renewal processes and procedures while contributing to an exceptional team environment.
What it takes:
· 1 – 2 years of experience in a sales-oriented environment.
· A University/College degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen effectively and understand client needs.
· A strong desire to establish and maintain robust relationships with clients.
· The ability to work cross-functionally within a dynamic team that relies on collaboration to achieve overall corporate goals.
· A goal-oriented, positive attitude, with a self-starter mentality and strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
· Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
· Experience working in a fluid, ever-evolving environment.
· Proficiency in English, Dutch, and/or French.
