This position is open to candidates residing in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This role will be in-office presence 5 days per week.
Role Overview:
Hands-on technical leader responsible for defining and driving automation strategy across UI, API, and backend services. Owns automation architecture, CI/CD quality gates, and performance validation while mentoring SDET engineers and partnering with Engineering and DevOps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute end-to-end automation strategy aligned with the test pyramid
- Architect and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks
- Mentor and guide QA/SDET engineers through code reviews and technical leadership
- Build and maintain CI/CD-integrated automation pipelines
- Drive performance testing initiatives and analyze bottlenecks
- Partner with Engineering, DevOps, and Product on release readiness
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7–9 years QA/SDET experience; 3+ years in a technical lead role
- Strong programming in Python and/or Java
- Hands-on expertise in Linux, shell scripting, Docker, CI/CD, and AWS
- UI automation (Playwright preferred) and API automation experience
- Performance testing experience (k6, JMeter, Gatling, or Locust)
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience
