Montreal, QC, September 12, 2006 — Silanis Technology, the U.S. government’s largest supplier of GPEA, E-Gov, OMB, and E-SIGN compliant, electronic signatures, today announced that its ApproveIt Desktop software and signature capture pads are available on the GSA schedule at a discounted price until September 30, 2006. Government organizations can save thousands of dollars on an electronic signing solution that will assist them to meet their paperless goals.

ApproveIt Desktop is a JITC-certified, NMCI approved, DoD PKI-enabled, off-the-shelf software package that can be used as a standalone solution on an individual’s desktop computer to electronically sign common desktop document formats. It can also be combined with a signature capture pad to electronically capture a person’s handwritten signature at a designated signing station or kiosk.

ApproveIt Desktop can also be used with or without the DoD PKI, and can be combined with Common Access Cards (CAC) for the highest levels of user authentication. The electronic signature software, capture pad, and Silanis’ professional services are all available on the GSA schedule, providing government agencies with a complete solution in support of their paperless initiative.
