Silanis Technology Inc. announced today the appointment of Mary Ellen Power as the company's VP of Marketing.

Montreal, Qc, May 19, 2000 — Silanis Technology Inc., a leading electronic signature software company, announced today the appointment of Mary Ellen Power as the company's Vice President of Marketing. With over 12 years of experience in high-tech marketing and communications, Ms. Power will be responsible for all Silanis branding, advertising, promotions, alliance and channel marketing, and public and media relations.

Prior to Silanis, Ms. Power was Director of Worldwide Marketing and Communications for Matrox Graphics Inc. There, she oversaw the marketing and communications efforts that brought the company from an unknown OEM manufacturer to the most highly awarded and successful brand in the graphics industry. Ms. Power led the international marketing efforts of over 50 professionals across North America, Europe and Asia, guiding her team to win over 800 product innovation and editor's choice awards. Her efforts increased demand and loyalty for Matrox products and catapulted sales from zero to $700 million US in five years.
