OAKBROOK TERRACE, Illinois and ZURICH, Switzerland – September 28, 2010 – VASCO Data Security International, Inc. (Nasdaq: VDSI;www.vasco.com), a leading software security company specializing in strong authentication products, announces that IDENTIKEY Server now also offers the possibility to securely access corporate networks using strong authentication through wireless Internet connections.

IDENTIKEY Server is VASCO’s comprehensive authentication server to secure remote access to corporate networks and various types of (web-based) applications. It is a straightforward and scalable solution, fit to accommodate the needs of both large and small enterprises. IDENTIKEY Server EnterpriseEdition is the perfect solution for SMBs and large corporations who want to secure remote access and business applications with the same DIGIPASS at little to no extra cost.

IDENTIKEY Enterprise Edition is a total solution for authentication. No matter how the end-user wants to access the corporate network and network resources, IDENTIKEY Server foresees in the two-factor authentication process. IDENTIKEY Server offers a solution for remote access, adding strong authentication to VPN solutions, allowing the employee to remotely log-on anywhere and anytime. Furthermore, employees can log-on using dedicated web interfaces or virtualized environments, such as Citrix and Novell, to gain access to the corporate resources. IDENTIKEY Server offers various web interface plug-ins to ensure the seamless integration of two-factor authentication into these third party solutions. IDENTIKEY Server is also adapted to secure the access to corporate data stored in web based or Software as a Service (SaaS) applications such as eCRM, eHRM, ERP solutions, protecting these data against data theft.

With an increasingly mobile workforce, laptops are increasingly used outside the corporate network. To enhance secure work flexibility, IDENTIKEY Server also offers DIGIPASS Authentication for Windows Logon, a module which is installed on the laptop and replaces the traditional username and password Windows log-on procedure by a logon procedure using one-time passwords generated by a DIGIPASS. DIGIPASS Authentication for Windows Logon adds an extra layer of security to laptop access in case the computer is lost or stolen.

Now IDENTIKEY Server further enhances the mobile work environment by adding wireless access as an additional option to connect to the corporate network. Authentication can be done over any private wireless network. Employees can connect from wherever for instance the wireless network in a meeting room to establish a secure connection to the corporate network and business applications. The user will be able to prove his identity quickly with an individually assigned DIGIPASS.The DIGIPASS device generates a unique one-time password that replaces insecure static passwords.

“By adding wireless to our IDENTIKEY Server Enterprise Edition, we offer a complete solution for all possible authentication scenarios. By adding the wireless option, people can access corporate applications through a wireless connection,” declares Jan Valcke, President and COO from VASCO Data Security. “VASCO’s IDENTIKEY Server offers secure access to corporate networks and applications.
