Before e-SignLive, retailers would begin the process for a new customer application on FlexPlay PLUS®’s portal; if accepted, the application would generate an installment contract, requiring written signatures. The retailer would then fax the application to Kahuna Payment Solutions. As a result, the company was manually processing 4,000 contracts a month, averaging 20,000-30,000 paper pages. Lost paperwork and illegible signatures would delay the process even further, causing missed opportunities and customer frustration.
