OAKBROOK TERRACE, Illinois and BRUSSELS, Belgium, April 13, 2000 -- VASCO Data Security International, Inc. (Nasdaq: VDSI; Easdaq: VDSI; www.vasco.com) announced today that its class of Common Stock will begin trading on EASDAQ under the symbol "VDSI" at the opening of trading on Friday, 14 April, 2000. This completes the dual listing of VASCO’s Common Stock on the Nasdaq National Market and EASDAQ. As announced earlier today, VASCO has withdrawn its proposed public offering of Common Stock in the United States and Europe due to current market conditions.


On April 7, 2000, VASCO's class of Common Stock began trading on the Nasdaq National Market under the symbol "VDSI." The Common Stock previously traded on the Electronic Bulletin Board under the same symbol.
