At Cartes, VASCO will again prove its leadership position in the card reader segment. Currently, almost 8.5 million Digipass secure readers are used worldwide for e-banking, e-commerce and e-government applications. All VASCO-products, including the secure card readers, can be used on one and unique platform, VACMAN Controller, making VASCO the Full Option, All-Terrain company.
Digipass 800 is a multifunctional unconnected secure smart card reader that extends strong authentication and digital signature capabilities to all market-leading smart cards, including EMV-CAP (Europay-Mastercard-Visa Chip Authentication Program). Digipass 800 has proven to be extremely reliable with an extra low total cost of ownership.
Digipass 810 for EMV-CAP is an unconnected personal card reader product platform, designed for strong authentication in Internet banking, corporate network access, e-commerce, etc.
Digipass 815 is a light, ultra-portable and easy to use secure smart card reader. These assets, combined with a stylish design, make Digipass 815 a highly appreciated strong authentication product in the banking sector and beyond.
Digipass 820 is a user friendly and elegantly designed secure smart card reader. Digipass 820 is EMV-CAP approved and supports Chinese, Japanese and Arabic symbols. With a simple push of a button Digipass 820 also displays all public data stored on eID-cards.
Digipass 850 is a connected secure smart card reader that can also be used in an unconnected mode. Connected with a USB cable to a PC, Digipass 850 can be used in a PKI environment. Unconnected, Digipass 850 has the same functionalities as Digipass 800. Digipass 850 is also an eID-reader: address and civil information on the eID-card can be viewed by inserting the card into the card reader.
