Enhanced workflow automations
SMS notifications are gaining strong momentum among insurance and banking customers. Launched in H2 2025, they are already helping customers cut through inbox noise, engage signers faster, reduce time to completion, and improve agreement completion rates.
Additionally, we are expanding how OneSpan Sign fits into broader business processes. New enhancements to our embedded Salesforce integration, including SMS notifications, deliver a better user experience, stronger performance, and updated capabilities such as attaching signed documents directly to the object. These innovations support important use cases across retail and commercial banking, as well as wealth management.
We are also broadening workflow possibilities with our new Workato integration, further enabling customers to support a wider range of automated workflows within more than 1,000 business applications.
Better customer experience
On the customer experience side, we’re introducing enhancements that make digital transactions easier to complete, easier to trust, and less likely to stall. One important area of focus is reducing risk related to attachments for workflows such as lending or account opening.
OneSpan Sign can now help identify documents as “Not In Good Order” (NIGO), pre-empting issues that often occur during the document submission process such as poor-quality documents or those that do not match the required information, which can cause delays and frustration for all parties.
In this release, we're offering early access to NIGO capabilities that validate whether the document uploaded matches the type of document expected. This feature supports downstream workflows by catching potential attachment issues before submission, reducing avoidable back-and-forth, lowering rejection rates, and shortening review time.
Separately, the new eSignature Styles feature gives signers more choice in how their signature appears and helps the experience feel more familiar and reassuring, especially for low-frequency signers who still expect something closer to pen and paper.
At the same time, we are making digital transactions more adaptable when real-world signing and approval paths change. New enhancements to our conditional logic feature give organizations greater control over multi-signer workflows, especially in co-signer and co-borrower scenarios common in lending, mortgages, leases, and similar agreements.
And finally, by allowing senders to include supporting documents that do not require a signature within the same transaction, OneSpan Sign helps reduce ambiguity about what was shared, lowers legal risk, and keeps everything in one place.
Increased compliance & security through identity verification
We are continuously working to strengthen compliance and security. New innovations are coming in Q3 2026:
- Enhanced identity verification with video active liveness detection. This will help organizations verify signer presence more effectively and align with growing security and regulatory expectations.
- Additional flexibility for identity verification workflows, portrait-mode capture, and QR code mobile handoff. These enhancements will help organizations design processes that fit their customers’ needs rather than forcing their processes to fit the technology.
More options and greater flexibility enable an easier user experience by design, while also giving organizations more choice in how they comply with regulatory requirements.
