VASCO Launches Enhanced Channel Partner Program and Appoints New Sales Director

Wemmel, January 28, 2015 - VASCO Data Security International, Inc., a global leader in authentication, digital signatures, and identity management, announced today the launch of its revamped Channel Partner Program and the appointment of Christian Hertsens to the position of Director Sales, End-to-End Authentication for the EMEA/LAM regions.

VASCO’s new channel partner program has been built to maximize business opportunities by teaming with channel partners to provide them with the resources they need to be successful in selling and implementing the most innovative authentication and digital signature solutions. The program aims at developing and maintaining joint relationships by providing partners with enhanced technical, commercial and marketing support.

Christian Hertsens has worked for VASCO for 4 years, previously as a Regional Sales Manager acquiring a solid reputation for delivering business growth and customer satisfaction in an international environment. “We want to ensure that our partners get the right level of support to service customers with a strong VASCO SLA,” said Mr. Hertsens. “The Channel has always been very important for us. Now, we want to increase the skills and knowledge of our partners even more through training and certifications so that VASCO Partners will be able to satisfy the evolving needs of Corporate, Enterprise and E-Business customers more than ever.”

In addition to the promotion of Mr. Hertsens, David De Pauw has been assigned as Channel Sales Manager for Benelux. In his new function, he will be assisting VASCO’s distributors and key reselling partners in the region. David De Pauw has worked for VASCO for 3 years, previously as Channel manger of the Belux region.
