How to E-Sign from Word, Excel and Other Productivity Apps
I recently joined the Silanis team and like all new employees, I had to e-sign my employment offer letter using e-SignLive. The experience was quick and simple, and I avoided the manual process of printing, signing with pen and paper, and faxing it back or using snail mail. The entire transaction was completed from the comfort of my own home.
As a relatively new user of the software, I’ve come to appreciate the e-SignLive Print Driver for its ease of use and convenience. The tool is a productivity booster, giving me the ability to easily send documents directly to e-SignLive from any print-enabled Windows application such as Microsoft Word and Excel. If for example I need to send a marketing agreement to a vendor or partner, I would simply create the document in Microsoft Word and then use the "Send to e-SignLive" feature to begin preparing the document for signature. The Print Driver serves as a universal connector and automatically converts your document into a PDF via the "print" function of your application, and then sends it instantly to e-SignLive for preparation and signing. Once the document is in e-SignLive, you can easily add the necessary signers and signature blocks and send it out for signature.
Follow these 5 easy steps to use the e-SignLive Print Driver:
- Select "Send to e-SignLive" from your application’s print menu
- Log in with your e-SignLive credentials
- Name your package
- Apply an existing layout (optional)
- Click "Print" to send to e-SignLive
