Timothy Walsh brings nearly two decades of experience in financial services to Silanis

MBA Conference, Atlanta, GA - March 12, 2002 - Silanis Technology Inc., a leading provider of electronic signature and approval management solutions, today announced the appointment of Timothy Walsh as the company's Director of North American Commercial Sales. With over 19 years of sales, business development, and management experience working for companies like eOriginal, IBM, and Bell & Howell, Mr. Walsh will play an integral role in optimizing Silanis' sales processes and customer relationship management strategies for the financial and general commercial markets.

Mr. Walsh's responsibilities will include hiring and developing sales teams, assessing how Silanis' technology can best improve the business goals of its customers, and improving overall operational performance in order to maximize revenues and meet Silanis' aggressive sales objectives.

Prior to joining Silanis, Mr. Walsh held the position of Vice President of Sales and Business Development at eOriginal Inc., where he was responsible for creating, staffing and executing business development plans for industry vertical markets, with particular emphasis on real estate finance. He also successfully developed multi-faceted strategic business partnerships, opening up sales channels for enterprise solutions.

Mr. Walsh also served as Director of Software and Professional Services Sales for Bell & Howell Mail & Messaging Technologies. He was a Vice President of Sales and Business Development and a principal at The Harris Group, a Baltimore-based software startup that was acquired by Bell & Howell in 1997. Before joining The Harris Group, Mr. Walsh spent 10 years with IBM, serving in a variety of sales and marketing management positions specializing in new business and strategic account development.

Mr. Walsh received his MBA degree from Seton Hall University and his BS–Business Management degree from the University of Maryland. He is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events.
