Ensures critical interoperability across 1.4 million US Army Users
Montreal, QC, March 14, 2004 — Montreal, QC, March 14, 2004 – Silanis Technology announced today that its award-winning ApproveIt Desktop software has received certification by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC). This certification ensures that ApproveIt Desktop 5.7 is fully compliant with the interoperability requirements of the DoD PKI.
Achieving JITC certification provides confidence that ApproveIt Desktop is interoperable with the DoD PKI and that it properly and securely uses the DoD infrastructure in compliance with DoD PKI policies.
“JITC certification is even more important now that Silanis has been selected by the US Army as the enterprise standard for e-signatures,” said Dr. Robert Al-Jaar, Chief Technology Officer of Silanis. “Deploying electronic signatures to 1.4 million users requires hassle-free migration and implementation on a very large scale – that’s what ApproveIt Desktop and Silanis provide.”
Silanis’ server-based products are also currently in certification testing. Once certified, they will enable DoD users to choose a solution that best addresses their approval process requirements and business needs.
