Senior User Experience (UX) Researcher – OneSpan

OneSpan’s UX team is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to expand our research power and help us to solve challenging problems in the world of trusted digital agreements. Join our team of talented designers, researchers, and accessibility experts. Together, we will collaborate, iterate, and deliver great software experiences that take confusion out of digital agreements and transactions while ensuring that they are compliant and secure.

About the role

Your responsibilities will consist of improving the interaction experience between people and institutions. You will drive tactical and strategic user research initiatives to guide our design process and help us build first-class user experiences. This includes:

  •  Partner with stakeholders and other subject matter experts to help the UX Team foster empathy for our users and advocate for their needs.
  • Translate product roadmaps and translate them into short-term and long-term research plans
  •  Define and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research studies such as user interviews, usability testing, surveys, card sorting, tree testing, A/B testing, analytics, focus groups, etc.
  •  Facilitate UX workshops and co-design sessions.
  •  Analyze and synthesize research data to generate meaningful insights and actionable recommendations to inform design decisions.
  •  Influence the shape of our products by sharing research findings and accurately articulating the study rationale.
  •  Contribute to the continuous improvement of our ResearchOps.
  •  Help level up the UX Team. Be a mentor for less experienced researchers. Share your experience and knowledge and make us better, faster, and stronger.


Job Requirements

  •  Minimum 5 years' experience in conducting user research.
  •  Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Usability, Human Factors, HCI, Psychology or related field.
  •  Strategic thinking and experience in employing a range of quantitative and qualitative methods of research.
  •  Proficiency with research tools like Dovetail, Atlas.ti, Survey monkey, Optimal Workshop, User Interviews, Validately, UserTesting, Maze, etc.
  •  Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, or Adobe XD in the context of user research.
