Air Force Standardizes on eSignLive E-Signature Solutions for Recruiting

June 25, 2007

The US Air Force Recruiting Service (AFRS) joins its Army and Air Force Reserve recruiting counterparts in selecting Silanis' e-signature solution to enlist personnel efficiently and paper-free.

Montreal, QC, June 26, 2007 — The selection of its solution by the US Air Force Recruiting Service (AFRS) confirms Silanis Technology as the e-signature recruiting standard for the US Air Force and US Army, for both active and reserve personnel, the world's most experienced e-signature provider proudly announced today.

AFRS will now join the US Army Accessions Command (AAC) and US Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) in keeping recruiting processes completely electronic. AFRS enlists approximately 27,000 enlisted members each year worldwide.

The benefits of e-recruiting with Silanis ApproveIt® Desktop are unmistakable, particularly when a process involves multiple signatures and the automatic activation of other processes, such as background checks.

Since deploying Silanis' solution, the US Air Force Reserve Command has reduced its new recruit processing times by 25 percent. Its 280 worldwide offices were fully operational within two weeks of receiving Silanis' software, signature tablets and training.

With Silanis e-signatures, paper, shipping costs and data duplication disappear from the equation, allowing recruiters to concentrate on recruiting instead of paper-based administrative tasks. HR personnel also benefit from immediate, secure access to a recruit's entire history from anywhere in the world.

By choosing Silanis as their electronic signature provider, organizations are guaranteed a flexible, legally enforceable and scalable technology that will grow with their enterprise needs.

Silanis' DoD clients also include the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), Air Force Global Combat Support System (GCSS-AF) and US Army Forms Content Management Program (FCMP), all of which have enterprise licenses. Other Air Force clients include the Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System (DEAMS), Purchase Requisition Process System (PRPS) and Air Logistics Center at Tinker Air Force Base.

Silanis solutions are certified under the Joint Interoperability Testing Command (JITC), Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and Global Combat Support System (GCSS) infrastructure.

ApproveIt Desktop combines the security of a digital signature with a legally enforceable process. It is the only solution on the market to use a document-centric approach, embedding signatures within the documents themselves and allowing for seamless integration with business and content management systems.
