Booz Allen Hamilton chooses eSignLive' electronic signature solution for e-contracting
Montreal, QC, May 9, 2007 — Silanis Technology, the world’s most experienced e-signature provider with over two million users, today announced it would supply the global strategy and technology consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton with an online e-signature solution allowing the firm’s subcontracting division to enable electronic contracting processes.
Booz Allen will be using Silanis’ ApproveIt® Web Server e-signature solution to take all of its NDAs, teaming and subcontracting agreements fully electronic. Legal enforceability and compliance were key deciding factors in awarding the contract to Silanis.
“As organizations move their processes and documents online,” said Richard L. Warren, chief executive officer, Silanis, “a key concern is to maintain or increase the level of legal enforceability.”
“The electronic evidence must be as strong as that of paper, or stronger.”
ApproveIt Web Server fully automates the presentation, signing and delivery of documents over the Web. A zero-download solution, its users need only a Web browser to electronically receive, review, sign and return documents online.
As a complete solutions provider, Silanis will also design, build and implement a Web portal for Booz Allen that will encompass end-user authentication, workflow, user notifications and system and transaction management.
Booz Allen’s use of ApproveIt Web Server will allow it to execute contracts in a fraction of the time, reduce document storage costs and improve document and data security, while automating thousands of transactions.
Silanis’ technology combines the security of a digital signature with a legally enforceable e-signing process. It permanently embeds a digital signature and audit trail within the documents themselves, so that they remain secure as they travel between users and systems.
