Market demand for Business Approval Automation solutions drives addition of new Regional Sales Managers

Montreal, QC, March 3, 2004 — In response to increased market demand for solutions that automate business approvals, Silanis recently added three new commercial Regional Sales Managers and two new government Senior Account Executives to its sales team.

Additions to the commercial sales team include Regional Sales Managers for the Northeast, Southeast, and West Coast. In the Federal market, Silanis added two new Senior Account Executives, one for the Department of Defense, and a second for Federal Civilian Agencies.

Brian Tom joins Silanis as the Northeast Regional Sales Manager for the commercial sales team. Tom has over 20 years experience in enterprise software sales with Financial, Human Resource, ERP and Technology Infrastructure solutions with companies such as ADP, Dun and Bradstreet Software, JD Edwards Worldwide Solutions (recently purchased by PeopleSoft) and most recently BMC Software. Tom’s industry experience spans Fortune 100 through Global 2000 companies in the financial services, consumer package goods, manufacturing and healthcare markets.

Helene Napolitano joins Silanis as the West Coast Regional Sales Manager for the commercial sales team. Napolitano has over 20 years of enterprise solution selling experience at such companies as Oracle, QAD and IBM. Napolitano has a strong background in selling solutions to Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies with a particular emphasis in the manufacturing, biotech, and pharmaceutical markets.

Ray Diehl joins Silanis as the Southeast Regional Sales Manager for the commercial sales team. Diehl brings Silanis over 15 years experience in solution selling into Fortune 500 companies, with 10 years specifically selling content/document management software into multiple vertical markets with Hummingbird, Autonomy and iManage, Inc.

Art Gonzales joins Silanis as Senior Account Executive for the Department of Defense, with a primary concentration on the Army and Air Force. Gonzales has over 28 years experience selling solutions to the Federal market, 23 years of which were at IBM. He has also worked with JetForm/Accelio, Informix, and Feith Systems selling imaging, document and forms management solutions.

Leila Bristow joins Silanis as Senior Account Executive for the Federal Civilian market. Bristow has over 18 years experience selling technology solutions into the Federal, State and Commercial markets. She comes to Silanis from Forgent where her focus was on selling enterprise class software and services to Fortune 500 companies. Bristow has also worked with Vtel, Picturetel, Siemens/Rolm, IBM And Bell Atlantic.
