Product Details
Digipass 760 is an innovative authentication device that protects online banking services against malicious attacks by allowing the bank to establish a secure optical communication channel with the client. As it is a standalone device that is not connected with the computer or network, security threats and portability issues are eliminated.
Cronto image
Digipass 760 works with a patented technology whereby a Cronto image is displayed on the bank’s website. This graphical cryptogram consists of a matrix of colored dots which are displayed on the end-user’s screen. Account holders can simply “scan” the image with Digipass 760 and verify the transaction details on a trusted display.
Enhanced user convenience
Digipass 760 enhances user-convenience by reducing the level of user interaction when signing Internet transactions. Through the built in camera; encrypted data from the PC display are automatically transferred to Digipass 760. The colored display offers an added visual convenience. The optical interface does not require any software or driver to be installed on the end user’s PC.
The solution is ideally suited for banks looking to use transaction signing to secure online transactions without compromising on user-friendliness. The user doesn’t need to type any transaction details into the device as all data are captured through the Cronto image.
Easy to deploy
The two-step activation makes this device easy to deploy as it can be distributed without containing any Digipass secrets. The user simply activates his Digipass with the activation code which is sent to him by mail and then registers his device online by capturing the Cronto activation code.
