The General Services Administration is the largest contracting organization in the world. Under GSA Schedules - master contracts that define delivery and quantity pricing – the Agency establishes long-term, government-wide contracts with commercial firms to provide access to over four million commercial services and products. Since July 2004, GSA has been using electronic contracting to manage new applications from contractors and to handle modifications to existing contractors’ GSA schedules. This has led to greater efficiencies and reduced costs.
