eSignLive to present Public Key Enabled Applications at DoD Identity Protection and Management Conference

Montreal, QC, April 15, 2005 — Silanis, the leading provider of solutions that automate the business approval process, announced today that Tommy Petrogiannis, will present at the upcoming DoD Identity Protection and Management Conference in Orlando, FL. The session, scheduled for Wednesday, April 20th, 2005 at 9:00AM, is part of the conference’s panel track providing presentations on how the different communities are working toward technical interoperability through compatible policies and levels of trust.

Mr. Petrogiannis’ presentation will include case studies that illustrate the deployment of a Public Key-enabled (PKE) application interfacing with the Common Access Card (CAC) in everyday document approval scenarios.  The user case examples will include client-based applications in Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, and PureEdge, in both online and offline environments.  XHTML Web-based processes will also be presented.

Previously known as the DoD PKI Conference, the conference has been transformed into a DoD Identity Protection and Management conference to encompass all the technologies inextricably linked to providing authentication of identities within the physical and virtual spaces.

This conference is underwritten and co-chaired by the DoD PKI PMO, with the assistance, cooperation, and support of co-chairs from their Identity Management partners in the DoD Access Card Office (ACO) and the DoD Biometrics Management Office (BMO).
