Expert Sales program

July 5, 2012

OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill., and ZURICH, Switzerland, July 5, 2012 - VASCO Data Security International, Inc. (Nasdaq: VDSI) (www.vasco.com), a leading software security company specializing in authentication products, today extends its e-learning program for sales people working for its reseller and distributor partners. VASCO’s goal is to increase their knowledge of existing VASCO security solutions and to spread awareness for similar solutions to other branches.

The new VASCO Sales Expert Program is developed for sales people who have already successfully completed the VASCO Sales Training course. This online training service, provided by VASCO’s SEAL (Security Experts Academy & e-Learning) department, goes a step further and is particularly designed to enhance a salesperson’s knowledge of VASCO’s products and solutions. VASCO believes that a broader knowledge and a better brand awareness lead to a quicker implementation of similar solutions for problems of the same kind that appear in different vertical branches. A sales person can recommend a solution that has already been proven to be effective.

The strength of this program is that it is completely based on real case studies. This gives the sales people in training the possibility to test their knowledge and to find out the customer’s specific requirements for a requested security solution. This enhanced training will also benefit the end-customer. Resellers and distributors can propose tailor-made solutions that fit their customers’ business needs based on longstanding experience and real-life examples.

“VASCO keeps a close track on the latest trends in training and education. VASCO’s SEAL hosts a worldwide community of security professionals and has certified more than 250 sales people to date. Thanks to this online expert sales program that can be followed at one’s own convenience, sales experts can enlarge their knowledge of implementing solutions for different applications in different vertical markets. For us, it is of the utmost importance that our sales people are tested by real cases and everyday problems,” explains Jan Valcke, President and COO of VASCO Data Security. “We are sure that this new sales training will increase our business and grade up the quality we can offer to the customer.”

VASCO is a leading supplier of strong authentication and e-signature solutions and services specializing in Internet Security applications and transactions.
