Dear OneSpan Customer,
In order to provide best-in-class products and services that meet our customers’ evolving needs, we are releasing a new end-to-end authentication offering named OneSpan Authentication Suite. This Suite will become the core component for purchase by any OneSpan authentication customer.
The new offering will be available to all existing and new OneSpan customers and will support all DIGIPASS and mobile authenticators. We are committed to continue developing and enhancing both on-premises and cloud authentication software, providing business continuity, future-proof protection, and exceptional services for OneSpan customers and their end-users.
In alignment with the new release, we will discontinue providing OneSpan Authentication Server Framework (formerly VACMAN Controller) to our customers.
This letter serves as formal notification that OneSpan is initiating the end-of-life process for all versions of OneSpan Authentication Server Framework and will not renew maintenance and support services beyond March 31, 2025.
The details of the end-of-life process are as follows:
1. Product Phase-out:
- Effective April 1, 2024, we will no longer accept new orders for OneSpan Authentication Server Framework software licenses.
- Existing orders that have already been placed and confirmed will be fulfilled according to the agreed-upon terms and conditions.
2. Product Support:
- We will continue to provide support and maintenance for OneSpan Authentication Server Framework until March 31, 2025, during the transition period.
- After March 31, 2025, we will no longer offer support or maintenance services for OneSpan Authentication Server Framework. This applies to ALL versions on ALL supported platforms.
3. Product Transition Options:
- OneSpan Authentication Suite is immediately available as the direct alternative for OneSpan Authentication Server Framework.
- Switching to OneSpan Authentication Suite will require no integration efforts and the new solution is fully compatible with existing implementations of OneSpan Authentication Server Framework.
- With the release of OneSpan Authentication Suite, we have made significant improvements in the simplicity and speed of the first-time ordering, renewals, and expansion processes.
- Our commercial and technical teams are available to provide you with support and consultation on direct transition from OneSpan Authentication Server Framework to OneSpan Authentication Suite or, alternatively, to the OneSpan Cloud Authentication service.

The decisions expressed in this letter were made based on our unwavering commitment to continue investing in secure and reliable authentication solutions that our customers, in more than 100 countries around the world, use to run efficiently and in compliance with local regulations.
