What is your role at OneSpan?
As a DevOps engineer, I'm in charge of the local Continuous Integration chain, which is the practice of automating the integration of code changes from multiple contributors into a single software project. This is an essential tool that gathers the developers’ work, checks it, validates it, and transforms it into an application that can be delivered to our customers.
Why do you like working at OneSpan?
I like the size of our company. It has all the benefits of a large organization without the bureaucracy and the multiple layers. I am happy to be able to work with global teams on large projects for top banks. That can be challenging, yet thrilling, and is what makes OneSpan different from other companies I’ve worked for.
Also, only a few companies can offer their employees the possibility to work on multiple technologies – software or hardware in a multi-discipline, multi-platform, and international environment – the way we do at OneSpan.
What drives you at work?
I’m very motivated to take complex problems the team faces and find easy-to-use and neat solutions to fix them.
What qualities do people need to have to be successful at OneSpan?
It’s essential to have an open mind and to be a good listener. With the geographical spread and the size of the company, it can be somewhat intimidating for new colleagues joining the team. However, all co-workers are always willing to help and enjoy bringing projects across the finish line together.
What are your favorite parts about your job, the team, and the workspace?
My favorite part of the job is the "brainstorming" part, when ideas and solutions come together.
I also really like the location of our Bordeaux office – it’s close to public transportation, so I don’t waste hours commuting in traffic.
What are your hobbies/interests? (sports, games, events, crafts etc.)
Traveling, reading, playing social games, watching movies or listening to music.
