Marketing Analyst (Maternity Replacement)

 

Job Summary:  Working from our Montreal headquarters, the marketing analyst will be a proactive, enthusiastic member of the Marketing team that will help plan, coordinate and execute programs that underpin the department’s lead generation efforts. One of the key objectives of this role is report back program results from leads generated via direct and indirect channels. Reporting to and working closely with the Sr. Marketing Programs Manager, you will also have responsibility to manage campaigns from beginning to end. We are looking for a well-rounded marketing professional that has very strong project management and excel skills with an exceptional ability to track and monitor program performance.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Analyze program success through the development of custom reports (Salesforce)
  • Track program execution and make updates in CRM, website CMS and Marketing Calendar
  • Communicate deliverables and timelines to internal stakeholders
  • Prepare post-mortem reports and/or slides and share program highlights
  • Monitor and manage allocation of marketing budget and invoices
  • Assist in the management of multi-channel campaigns that include webcasts, events, content syndication, email, advertising and other marketing vehicles to drive lead generation (social media and search marketing excluded)
  • Research and identify third-party events, associations and publications
  • Write and produce content for webinar descriptions, mailer copy, web/landing page copy, speaking proposals and PowerPoint presentations, in support of programs that are being managed
  • Source, manage and negotiate with suppliers, artwork vendors and 3rd party publications

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years marketing, lead generation and event planning experience in B2B industry (software or technology experience an asset)
  • Analytical with a demonstrated ability to monitor trends, cycles and track KPIs
  • Expert skills in Excel
  • Very strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or business
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate value proposition
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate with vendors
  • CRM (Salesforce.com), and CMS (Wordpress or Drupal) experience an asset
