What is your role at OneSpan?
I’ve been with OneSpan for about two years as part of the Cloud Operations team. In my role as a Senior Cloud Operations Administrator, my team and I are responsible for managing the cloud footprint for OneSpan Sign, our e-signature solution.
Why do you like working at OneSpan?
I was born and raised in France but always dreamed of living in Canada. I was fortunate enough to make that dream become a reality after graduating university. Prior to joining OneSpan, I worked at a Canadian public utility company as a security consultant, and before that as a cloud operations specialist at a large software and technology company. From having worked at other companies and having lived abroad for most of my life, I’ve noticed that OneSpan really treats employees like people, not numbers. I like how OneSpan is a global company and that the work that I do here matters.
What drives you at work?
The knowledge that I will learn something new every day. I also enjoy the challenges that I’m faced with every day, particularly working with new cloud technologies.
What qualities do people need to have to be successful at OneSpan?
Work hard and take risks. Being collaborative and a team player is also important.
What are your favorite parts about your job, the team, and the workspace?
I really appreciate that whenever my team encounters a challenge, everyone comes together to find a solution. I also like how acceptable it is to ask questions, because there’s always someone willing and available to help. Both my manager and my colleagues always make time to encourage me to learn and grow.
What are your hobbies/interests?
I love to travel. I was very lucky to travel before the pandemic started earlier this year. My boyfriend and I traveled to Florida and enjoyed the warm weather and beaches. I’m also keeping quite busy right now renovating and redesigning my house in Montreal.
